Did you find that site i told you about?
Got any questions (i know you where looking at getting a marker) just post up I'm sure one of us here could help you out.
The Forum name relates to something ages ago when i was a kid and i've always stuck with it XD. and cheers for the help mate speaking of markers i've found a Etek 1 in great condition on that site you recommended to me for £200, whats your opinion?

Welcome mate I'm Badger (Don't let cookie tell you otherwise!)
I may be getting rid of an ego 8 in February job situation depending if you're not in a rush? Would be going up for about £250. But for someone off here it would be for cheaper than that.

Re: Introduce yourself here
names ross, came to play the other day and really enjoyed it. looking into getting to a few more sessions and get some kit of my own in the next couple of months.
The general consensus on here seems to be to buy a mask first, come to a team training session, and have a blast with a few different markers. Obviously a few markers and brands keep cropping up (proto rail, invert mini etc) but it makes sense to try before you buy.
Cheers for a great day saturday anyway lads, loved it. Look forward to getting more involved in the sport.

Re: Introduce yourself here
Hi Ross names Sly, (ignore the ridiculously preposterous name of 'Midas' on these forums no idea how that arose ) but anyways welcome to the forums Ross yeah good idea, or even come to training without a mask then you can apply the same principle as the marker to a mask, try before you buy, we have a variety of masks although the best and ones i would recommend would be SLY ones, safety first and all that jazz

Re: Introduce yourself here
Welcome mate I'm badger.
Always get a mask first as it's the safest piece of equipment. I would definitely recommend SLY masks they are the comfiest mask I have worn and I have worn a few different types. The team has such a wide range of guns that you can try which is just about all guns out there. Hope to meet you sometime in the future.
Hmmm .... maybe it's because EVERYTHING you touch breaks!!!

Re: Introduce yourself here
Haha! wasn't expecting that many responses cheers for the welcome everyone. Yeah cookie I remember you, I was the daft one on the blue team with the "head kick" lasses haha!
I could wait yeah, I maintain that most gear is buy cheap buy twice, especially since something like a mask will last me a while. It was between a sly mask and a dye one, they both looked good.
I'll email my number or pm it now.

Re: Introduce yourself here
Try before you buy definitely. If you are on a budget look on this site for some second hand stuff.
www.p8ntballer-forums.com
Might be worth it especially for a gat, tank and hopper.
