eyes not working
As mentioned at the womens gathering my marker is not working properly. A couple of poeple mentioned they could have a look at it. SShould i wait till the training session on the 29th or get it sorted earlier? Forgot to ask after what happened with the whole bike thing.

Re: eyes not working
turn them off, keep on using marker, with the capping they dont really break balls as its not quick enough!!!, none of my markers eyes work and I still shoot at 15bps on occassions!!

Re: eyes not working
trying to get myself new barrel (back at least) for my pm8. I know i need a cocker thread but other than that i am not sure.
As i was looking i notice they all come with numbers like 0.688 and such. Is this the diameter of the barrel. If so how do i know which i need or are they all the same tread just the inside diameter is different for different paint? In that case again how do i know what i need?

Re: eyes not working
diffrent paint sizes, but tbh it dosnt rly matter much. 0.680 is the average industry size (if i remember correctly) but if you want more consistant shooting then its best to match up the bore size to the balls ur currently firing
e.g. Diablo "heat" is 0.688 - 0.689 (so obv best to get a barrel for that size
if you want a barrel kit for every ball size i suggest somthing like a Freak Kit (used to have one years ago and loves the shiz outa it)
hope this helps kidda

Re: eyes not working
matching paint bang on to bore size isnt that important now., the paint is a lot more spherical than it ever has been so will fly straighter than the paint from yesteryear which just to zip all over the place.
paint has reduced in size over last couple of years down to an average .685 with a .689 barrel being ideal in size. smalles in size would be .681.
me persnally would look for 1 barrel a .688/6.89 ideal carbon fibre - stiffi/ invert nightstick (around £60.00 or dye boom cf( this one is expensive £130)
the other option is to buy a dye back for your existing barrel, which i can get for around £35 off the top of my head.
you dont really want any more than a 14" barrel, any longer and it just gets in the way and you end up snapping your barrel

Re: eyes not working
Been looking around and found this
http://www.store.justpaintball.co.uk/barrels/invert-nightstick.html
Is the bore size to0 big? .692
I think the dye boomstick may be a little pricy, plus can only find 15" or bigger. Also cant find a Stiffi except from the USA, If i want one will i need to import?
Also been looking into length of barrels. A little worried a 14" may be a little too long for little me. Or will that no really matter coz the carbon fiber so light?
A lot of questions i know but i dont want to waste my money on something i will just need to replace for one reason or the other.

Re: eyes not working
carbon fiber is a lot lighter but not as accurate as a aluminium barrel. so id save up for a boomstick personaly
but id suggest keeping the stockbarrel and upgrading other areas such as bounce vests, knee pads, slide shorts, speed feeds etc etc

Re: eyes not working
dont need all of those bits of kit though if you dont do much sliding, i only wear a bounce vest and i superman etc and carbon barrels are much better than aluminium, thats why i only use my stiffi

Re: eyes not working
lol, looks like i started a fight. and already thinking of buying a bounce vest (looking at an invert i think) and the barrel i got with my marker is ugly so i need at least a back piece but the nightstick is a little cheaper
matty where did you get your stiffi? (yes i do realize this will bring jokes in)
